Rowan Goodwill Career Connections Holding Job Fairs in July

The Goodwill Career Connections Center in Salisbury will hold multiple hiring events during the month of July with employers who are hiring for a variety of positions. The following hiring events will take place at the Goodwill Career Connections Center, located at 1923 S. Main Street in Salisbury.

Multi-Employer Hiring Event
Friday, July 21 – 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Employers scheduled to attend include:

• ADUSA Distribution
• City of Salisbury
• Hollywood Bed
• McKenzie Sports Products
• Powerhouse Recycling

Ashley Furniture Industries Hiring Events
Tuesday, July 18 and Monday, July 24 – 10 a.m.-Noon both days
Hiring warehouse and manufacturing associates for all shifts. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, weekly pay, profit sharing, and 401(k).

In addition, Goodwill will continue to hold its weekly sessions at Rowan County Public Library Branches. A career connections specialist will be on-site to help with resumes, job search, completing job applications, preparing for interviews, and other career services. Sessions are:

• Thursday, July 13, 9 a.m.-Noon – Rowan Public Library South (920 Kimball Road, China Grove)
• Thursday, July 20, 1-3 p.m. – Rowan Public Library West (201 School Street, Cleveland)
• Thursday, July 27, 1-3 p.m. – Rowan Public Library East (110 Broad Street, Rockwell)
