Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina will hold the grand opening for its new Sherrills Ford retail store on Wednesday, February 25 at 10 a.m. The store is located at 7905 Bradley Long Drive in Sherrills Ford, behind Chick-fil-A.

The new retail store will offer thousands of donated items including clothing, furniture, shoes, toys, home decor, and more. It also includes a drive-through donation drop-off, which will be open during the store’s regular operating hours.

Local officials and members of Goodwill’s leadership team will be on hand for a brief ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. The store will open at 10 a.m. for the public to browse and shop.

“We’re excited to open this 11,000 square-foot store in the Sherrills Ford community,” said Tonya Nations, Goodwill’s Chief Operations Officer. “Shoppers can enjoy finding great deals on unique treasures, clothing, and household items while supporting Goodwill’s mission of providing employment and training opportunities to the greater community.”

The Sherrills Ford store will employ approximately 20 people. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This is the fourth retail store in and around the Lake Norman area for Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina. The organization has two stores in Mooresville and one nearby in Troutman.
