Goodwill’s annual back to school sale on blue jeans returns Aug. 5-14, just in time to assist families who are expected to spend more on school clothing and supplies than ever before.

At the annual Back to School Blues sale, adults’ and children’s blue jeans will be buy one, get one free at all Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina retail and outlet stores. The sale begins on Friday, Aug. 5, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 14.

The offer includes all regularly priced jeans while supplies last. In Goodwill retail stores, infants’ jeans $1.99, children’s jeans are $2.99 per pair, and adults’ jeans are $4.99. At the Goodwill Outlet Stores in Asheville, Conover and Winston-Salem, all clothing and household items are priced per pound. There is no limit per customer. Specially priced finds are not included.

“With costs of so many new items increasing, families are concerned about how to afford the back to school clothing and supplies that their children need,” said Jaymie Eichorn, Goodwill’s chief marketing officer. “Goodwill’s Back to School Blues sale helps by offering families a great deal on jeans, which are a year-round wardrobe staple for all ages. Also, when you shop at Goodwill, you’re making it possible for us to provide employment services to people right here in our community.”

“In addition to jeans, families can shop Goodwill for savings on other back to school needs like electronics, books, shoes and more,” Eichorn continued. “And Goodwill stores are overflowing with donations, so families will have plenty to choose from.”
