Business Advisory Councils

Business Advisory Council (BAC) members provide advice and counsel to Goodwill staff, educate others on Goodwill’s mission and services, and maintain a network for the successful employment of program graduates. There are currently five Councils with more than 200 members.

Business Advisory Councils play a critical role in making Goodwill’s mission possible.  To learn more about Goodwill’s mission and services, visit our About page or view our programs under Job Services. Councils meet monthly, either virtually or in-person, to share resources, network, and address the issues facing the local community.  BACs are based in Buncombe, Catawba, Davidson, Forsyth, Iredell, and Rowan Counties. Virtual meetings are held via Zoom web conferencing and are open to anyone interested in collaborating with other members of the community to improve our region.
