While you’re doing your holiday shopping online, you can support Goodwill at the same time.

When you purchase books, electronics, apparel or any other item on Amazon, the online retailer will donate 0.5 percent of the price of eligible purchases to the nonprofit of your choice.

Simply sign up for Amazon Smile at smile.amazon.com and select “Goodwill Industries of NW North Carolina” as the recipient of a portion of your purchases. There is no cost to you, as this is a charitable contribution by Amazon.
