Last Update: 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8

We are fully cooperating with local authorities and fire investigators as they continue their investigation into Goodwill’s warehouse fire on July 7 at our campus at 1616 Patton Avenue in Asheville. The warehouse and trailers were used to store donations in preparation for distribution to local Goodwill retail stores, where the items would be sold to fund Goodwill’s mission programs. We are grateful that only property was damaged. In the days ahead, we will spend time assessing the impact of this loss. We want to assure the community that we will continue to offer the employment and education services that help local people each day.
