Veterans Services Session Schedule

Connecting veterans and military families with the work and support they need.

Goodwill’s Veterans Services Program provides free services to help veterans and military families’ find meaningful employment and financial stability through free employment assistance services, including career assessment, planning and coaching, job skills training, resume preparation, job placement, and career readiness certification (CRC).

In addition, Veterans Services staff are here to assist all veterans, whether current they are Goodwill employees, or the general public, with information and guidance regarding their VA benefits, by ensuring they are utilizing the eBenefits web portal to the best of their ability.

Goodwill invites military veterans and their families to learn more about the opportunities available through its Veterans Services Program by attending one of the following information sessions:

Operation: GoodJobs 3.0

Operation: GoodJobs (OGJ) is a national partnership between Goodwill and the Walmart Foundation that provides free services to help veterans and military families find meaningful employment and financial stability through free employment assistance services, including career assessment, planning and coaching, job skills training, resume preparation, job placement, career readiness certification and more. It is open to veterans, active duty and reserve service members, military spouses and adult children dependents residing with service member, with particular focus on female veterans and post-9/11 veterans.

The goal of OGJ 3.0 is to help improve the lives of 5,000 veterans and military family members in the U.S. through job training, connecting veterans and their households to certifications and credentials, placement and job retention services to veterans and businesses for 12-month retention after placement through holistic supportive services.

Through Operation: GoodJobs, Goodwill organizations will continue to support veterans and military families. Launched at the end of June 2017, OGJ 3.0 is a 5 million dollar investment from the Walmart Foundation over a 36-month grant period. GII has expanded its OGJ program to include a focus on closing the wage gap for women veterans in ten high need communities across the United States while continuing to provide long term job retention services to employers, our heroes and their families.
