Veterans Services Program and Information Session Schedule

Connecting veterans and military families with the work and support they need.

Employment Resources

Have you or a family member served at least one day in the military and are looking for a new job?  Are you transitioning from the military or recently transitioned?  Has it been years since you served, but are looking for your next career, and would like resources and assistance in obtaining and maintain your employment?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, reach out to Goodwill’s Veterans Services Program. You have served your country, now let us be of service to you.

Goodwill’s Veterans Services Program is open to anyone that has served at least one day in the military, military spouses and adult children dependents residing with the service member, active duty, and reserve service members, with a particular focus on female veterans and post-9/11 veterans.

Through Operation: GoodJobs, we provide free, individualized services to assist veterans and military families’ find meaningful employment and financial stability.  This is accomplished through a variety of methods, including employment assistance services, career assessment, career planning and coaching, job search skill building, skills training, resume preparation, job interview readiness, placement support and more.

Operation: GoodJobs (OGJ) is a national partnership between Goodwill and the Walmart Foundation.  The goal of OGJ 3.0 is to help improve the lives of 5,000 veterans and military family members in the U.S. through job training, connecting veterans and their households to certifications and credentials, placement and job retention services to veterans and businesses for 12-month retention after placement through holistic supportive services.

Launched in June 2017, OGJ 3.0 is a 5 million dollar investment from the Walmart Foundation over a 36-month grant period. Goodwill has expanded its OGJ program to include a focus on closing the wage gap for women veterans in ten high need communities across the United States while continuing to provide long-term job retention services to employers, our heroes, and their families.
