In celebration of Goodwill Week, May 1-6, Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hosting a spring job fair on Tuesday, May 3. According to some hiring experts, springtime presents great opportunities for job seekers.
Veterans looking for work can attend the job fair from 9am to 10am, then the event is open to all job seekers from 10am to 1pm. Multiple employers hiring in a variety of fields will be participating, including RJ Reynolds, Lowes Home Improvement, Winston-Salem Personnel and G4S Security Solutions. Positions available range from warehouse to research and development.
The job fair will be held at Goodwill’s headquarters, 2701 University Parkway in Winston-Salem. Goodwill’s Career Connections Center will also be open to provide free assistance with resume preparation, interviewing skills, online applications and other career services. All Career Connections Center services are free of charge and staff are available Monday-Friday at 19 locations across northwest North Carolina.
