Goodwill to Open New Store in Winston-Salem on Dec. 11

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina will hold a grand opening for its new retail store in Winston-Salem on Friday, Dec. 11.  Members of Goodwill’s executive management team will be on hand for a ribbon cutting at 9:45 a.m., after which the public is invited to browse and shop in the store.  Attendees are asked to wear face masks at all times and stay physically distanced from others.

“We are always excited to open a new store, and this one is our first in Forsyth County in more than 10 years,” said Jaymie Eichorn, vice president of Marketing and Communications for Goodwill.

The new Goodwill retail store is located at 3601 Reynolda Road, and features a covered drop off area, fitting rooms and two cashier stations. The store will employ approximately 15 people. Click here to learn about current job openings at Goodwill retail stores and donation centers.
