Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina will hold a grand opening for its new Caldwell County retail store in Hudson, on Thursday, January 5. The new store is located at 3076 Hickory Blvd.
Store staff, local officials, and members of Goodwill’s executive management team will attend the ribbon cutting ceremony, which begins at 8:45 a.m. Afterwards, customers are invited to browse the vast inventory of donated clothing, furniture, shoes, toys, and home decor.
“The store will employ 15 people, and will provide a convenient and environmentally responsible option for people to recycle their unwanted items.” said Jaymie Eichorn, vice president of Marketing and Communications of Goodwill NWNC. “We are excited about opening our second store in Caldwell County, the first one being in Lenoir in 2001.”
Donations of saleable clothing and household items are accepted at more than 100 Goodwill stores and donation centers in northwest North Carolina. For more information on Goodwill services, mission, and locations, click here.
