Goodwill Cares assists eligible team members experiencing challenges by providing support, compassion, and connections to resources. This free benefit is available to all team members.

We are currently working on a more streamlined way for employees to request assistance through Goodwill Cares. In the meantime, if you are experiencing a financial hardship, please send an email to goodwillcares@goodwillnwnc.org with the following information:

  • Your full name and phone number
  • Your job title, department, and work location
  • Whether you are full-time or part-time, and your hire date
  • A brief explanation of your current situation
  • A list of household members (name, relationship, and age)
  • A list of expenses (type and amount)
  • Any assistance you’ve applied for through other agencies and their response
  • Please attach any supporting documents (e.g., rent/mortgage, utility bills, receipts, etc.)

If you have not heard from anyone regarding your request for Goodwill Cares in 24-36 hours excluding weekends, please call 336-486-0312 to ensure we have received your application.
