Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina opened its newest retail store in the town of Sylva, North Carolina, at 9 am on Monday, December 14 at 182 Walmart Plaza in Sylva.
The Sylva store will offer shoppers the same great bargains they have come to know at all Goodwill stores, but will have different hours of operation. The new store will be open Monday–Saturday, 9 am – 8 pm and Sunday, 1 – 6 pm.
On opening day, shoppers enjoyed refreshments, promotional giveaways and a ribbon cutting with Town of Sylva officials and Goodwill executive team members in attendance.
In addition to the new store, Goodwill will still accept donations at its attended donation center at 601 East Main Street in Sylva. Donations of any kind are always needed and appreciated: clothing, electronics, home goods, furniture, jewelry, books, computer equipment and shoes are in high demand.
