Fall means back to school, and that means it’s time to get your child’s wardrobe ready. Fortunately, Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina makes it easy by offering everything from blue jeans to tennis shoes at their retail stores, all at affordable prices.
“One item of clothing that never goes out of style is the blue jean” said Jaymie Eichorn, Vice President of Marketing and Communications.” And so we offer a wide selection of jeans, but there’s so much more!”
In addition to being a one-stop shop for back-to-school needs, children have more freedom to define their style on a budget when they shop at Goodwill.
“Today’s students are socially and environmentally conscious, and eager to find unique styles that fit their personalities,” said Ms. Eichorn. “It’s a win/win because when families shop at Goodwill, they spend money that supports our workforce development programs, which, in turn, helps people find jobs in their local communities.”
Donations of clothing and household items are sold in Goodwill stores, and proceeds help to fund such programs and services as employment placement, job training, career counseling, child care, financial education and mentoring.
More than 130 local Goodwill organizations also sell items on shopgoodwill.com®. Parents can bid on musical instruments, sporting equipment, graphing calculators and many other accessories that kids need for back to school.
