Registration for the 2022 MAGIC Conference closed on July 15, 2022.
Goodwill Northwest NC is excited to host the 2022 MAGIC Conference, September 11-13 in Asheville, which brings together 17 regional Goodwill organizations (view a map of MAGIC member organizations). A tentative agenda is included below but is subject to change. If you need an accommodation for this event, please email us as soon as possible. If your plans change and you are unable to attend the conference, we ask that you notify us by email as soon as possible. Our cancelation policy is as follows:
- cancel on or before August 12 – full refund, less Eventbrite processing fees
- cancel August 12-August 26 – 50% refund, less Eventbrite processing fees
- cancel after August 26 – no refund
Hiking excursion on Sunday, September 11! For those interested in exploring a bit of Asheville’s outdoors, we have planned a trip to Glassy Mountain Trail at the Carl Sandburg Home. We will leave the hotel at 10:30 a.m. and return no later than 3:45 p.m. to accommodate the agenda. If you are interested in embarking on this adventure, please email Tom Runser no later than August 15.
The conference will be held at Renaissance Asheville Downtown. Our contracted blocks of rooms at the Renaissance and at the Four Points by Sheraton across the street are full; however, both hotels still have rooms available under the public rate which you can book through their websites as listed below. Currently, their nonrefundable rates are comparable to the contracted block rate but will vary depending on changes in availability.
