Maria's Success Story
After spending her entire career at a respected textile manufacturer, Maria’s world was shattered when she was downsized.  She stayed in bed all weekend, but by Monday she was in line at the Employment Security Commission, determined to find help.  It was there she learned about Goodwill’s Career Connections, a program that helps people seek and secure employment.  After six weeks, Maria found a new career and a fresh start as a manufacturing buyer at Alcan.  “I just feel peace and gratitude for what Goodwill has helped me to achieve.”
