Goodwill Hosting Job Fair for New TJ Maxx Store

Goodwill is hosting a hiring event August 6 through August 11 to recruit employees for a new TJ Maxx Store to be located at 222 Turnersburg Highway in Statesville.
At Goodwill's Workforce Development Center at 124 Fourth Crescent Place in Statesville, Goodwill staff are accepting applications prior to the event and scheduling applicants for interviews. The interviews will be held from 10am to 8pm beginning on Monday, August 6 and continuing through Saturday, August 11.
TJ Maxx is recruiting candidates for the following positions:
- Back Room Coordinator- Coordinating receipt of goods and processing store merchandise. Organizes and rotates back stock for replenishment. Maintains clean and well organized stock room. Leads by example and provides courteous and expeditious service. Need good communication skills to effectively communicate with management and other associates. Must be able to lift, have strong written and verbal ability.
- Cash Office Associate- Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely coordination of all monetary transactions in the Store on a daily basis. Responsible for performing and training all administrative functions relative to cash balancing and reconciling register transactions on a daily basis. Serves as a liaison between store and home office regarding balancing activities. Advising management on any discrepancies.
- Customer Experience Coordinator-Responsible for operational controls at the front-line service desk and jewelry. Ensures front-line associates provide prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to all customers. Resolves customer service issue appropriately and competently. Audits and approves all necessary front-line procedures and controls.
- Merchandising Coordinator- Responsible for establishing and executing merchandising plans and priorities. Enures fresh flow of merchandise from backroom to sale floor, ensures execution and maintenance of all merchandising standard sizing, categorizing, signing, no tickets, mismates, damages recovery, directives and plan-o-grams. Leads by example providing prompt and courteous service, communicates effectively with Management and Store Associates. Trains store associates on proper merchandising procedures and markdowns.
