New Center Offers Services for Professionals

At Goodwill's new Professional Center in Winston-Salem, professionals seeking a competitive edge in their job search can receive assistance with networking skills, interviewing strategies, salary negotiation, social media, and image consulting.  

 

 

 

Randy Wooden, director of the Professional Center, brings over 25 years of experience in a number of human resource areas including outplacement, career coaching, executive recruiting, in-house staffing and training. Services are funded through Goodwill's retail operations, enabling Goodwill to offer them free of charge.  

 

 

 

The Center also provides services for employers, including career transition services, and can connect companies to qualified professional candidates.   

 

 

 

Services offered at the center include:

 

• Resume assistance
• Interviewing skills, including videotaped interview role play
• Networking skills
• Consultation
• Social media training
• Placement assistance
