Truck Helper

Our Truck Helpers are responsible for assisting the truck driver in safely and efficiently moving product to/from retail stores, attended donation centers, house calls, etc. The position requires the ability to maintain a clean and safe dock at all locations where services are provided. We seek team players who are committed to demonstrating excellence in their work and in their attendance and attitude. Truck Helpers will be responsible for the following duties: -Assists Truck Drivers physically loading and unloading the trucks and material handling. –Assists in maintaining a safe work environment by keeping watch for hazards when the Truck Driver is backing up or parking the truck, etc. –Assists with expediting deliveries and pickups by learning driving routes and assisting with directions to new locations. –Secures donated goods and loads the vehicle in an efficient and safe manner. – Assists in cleaning truck and maintaining the level of on-board supplies, as well as emptying and cleaning Attended Donation Centers. –Frequently walks, bends, lifts and carries up to 50 lbs.
EDUCATION:    High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE:   Some related experience in transportation industry or material handling is helpful.
